QUICK SEARCH

Quick Search provides a hassle-free way for users to find content in Windchill by simply entering a number or attribute and return relevant results from across your PLM environment.

It removes the need for users to apply an understanding of how Windchill objects are related in order to find the information needed to do their job. This app has the ability to tailor search parameter to each user’s role so searches do not become overwhelmed with irrelevant information to their role.

QUICK ACCESS

Quick Access was created to provide an improved user experience, and by extension, user productivity for shop floor personnel requiring streamlined access to critical and select data sets. PLM and PDM tools have complex user interfaces and many relational paths that can inhibit upstream and downstream user adoption.

With the Quick Access app, you are able to improve user adoption of these critical systems within your organization. Users are able to submit a problem report, a change request, a new variance directly within their EAC quick access application, which entirely eliminates the need to go into their Windchill system at all. 

BOM REPORTS

When your product development is in the dynamic phases that require many changes and updates at each phase gate, your bill of materials should be primarily managed in PLM. With EAC Productivity Apps it is easy to navigate through your organization's data on one simple interface.

Oftentimes creating BOMs requires input from design, procurement, manufacturing, and sales. So, if your product requires specific requirements management, detailed manufacturing, quality work instructions, or an intensive manufacturing process, it’s in your best interest to use product lifecycle management for your BoM. EAC Apps allow all departments of your organization to be able to see the process of the BoM, list of unreleased parts, and parts modified/created in order to make the best decisions about the project according to their department.

Using manual methods to collect and enter items on various BoMs increases the risk of producing inaccurate, out-of-date, or even possibly duplicate BoM versions. Furthermore, if departments produce products based on incorrect or inaccurate bills of materials that were manually entered, delays on production to market can occur. This can not only be very costly for an organization, but it oftentimes impacts an entire supply chain. Inaccurate bills of materials are one of the costliest errors engineering companies can make.

Task Management helps users complete multiple tasks within one window. This app shows all open tasks, similar to a to-do list, and provides the ability to filter tasks assigned to each user on your team.

This EAC Productivity App allows users to streamline their interaction with a task list and allows Windchill users to view and manage this consolidated list stored within a Windchill system. This format of task management can benefit organizations with increased efficiency, user adoption, improves time management and PLM system usage.

CHANGE PROCESS APPS
Project Management can be a difficult task when the manual movement of data between departments can be slow, inaccurate, or out-of-date by the time it is put in the hands of the next person. Our Change Process Apps were built to deliver a graphical view of problem reports, change requests, change reports, change variances, and promotion requests managed within Windchill and visible to all users necessary.
 
For instance, while the Finance department has no business in having the ability to request changes or creating problem reports for products – they may need to have the ability to search for specific part names and numbers to attach to customer invoices. They are able to log into the app, have a dedicated view that fits their role, and see exactly what they need without disrupting the project flow.
 
Each app includes a customizable space for the addition and development of role-based reports. This helps managers and end-users throughout an organization – regardless of their department – see only the most relevant and critical information. This App features the ability to create a change request, view the dashboard overview of Change Requests, problem report Change Requests, find support for custom soft attributes in Change Requests and types of Change Requests and it includes an out-of-the-box hook for integrating custom mashups.
